Amazing Place (2022-2024)

Project Manager

Community Arts Guild

Amazing Place is a two-day, arts-based neighborhood event in East Scarborough’s KGO area, designed to celebrate and animate public spaces through site-specific installations, performances, and collaborative art activities. This participatory event invites residents of all ages to explore five unique community sites—including parks, historic locations, local businesses, and a library—while participating in a neighborhood-wide scavenger hunt and enjoying live performances by Scarborough-based artists.

Developed through collaboration between the Community Arts Guild, local organizations, and community members, Amazing Place offers a unique opportunity for residents to engage with and learn about their neighborhood in a fun and meaningful way. By highlighting the area’s assets and fostering connections between residents, artists, and organizations, the project aims to strengthen community bonds, celebrate local talent, and create lasting memories in these cherished public spaces.
