“HOME”

Local Program Coordinator, Toronto Ward Museum, Block by block Project

Inspired by the stories and experiences of Agincourt residents, Home looks at the connection between stories from our past and present.

How does your history or your family’s history influence what “home” means to you?

What items in your home speak to your life now?

We all have different experiences of Agincourt and have brought different memories with us to this place we now call home.

Featuring installations, objects, audio, and video, Home guides the visitor through makeshift spaces encompassed with traditions, history, stories, and practices of the past and present. Each room highlights the narratives of change, culture, migration, displacement, and identity.  This is a celebration of the multiple ways that residents view Agincourt as home.
